Welcome to the first and only parent-directed home education program designed specifically for Muslim homeschoolers across Alberta. Operating under the Edmonton Islamic Academy (EIA) and accredited by Alberta Education, we are committed to providing a high-quality, flexible learning experience for Muslim families.

Our dedicated parent-directed facilitators are Alberta-certified Muslim teachers, each with extensive experience in home education. We recognize the unique needs of our community and support all methods of home education, offering families the freedom to choose the approach that best aligns with their values and educational goals.

In 2025, EIA proudly introduced a teacher-directed Junior High stream, allowing students to work alongside a dedicated teacher in a virtual classroom setting. This new addition provides an opportunity for students to receive personalized instruction while maintaining the flexibility of home education.
