The Teacher-Directed Online Program provides a flexible, teacher-guided educational experience that allows students to thrive in a virtual classroom setting. Designed for students in Junior High, this program combines the convenience of online learning with the personalized support of certified Alberta Muslim educators. Each subject course is crafted to uphold academic excellence while integrating Islamic values, ensuring students grow both intellectually and spiritually.
With the Teacher-Directed Program, students engage in interactive lessons, receive individualized attention, and benefit from a supportive, faith-centered learning environment. Whether students are learning from home or on the go, they have the tools and resources they need to succeed at their own pace, while still being guided by experienced teachers every step of the way.
When you choose the Teacher-Directed Online Program, you’re providing your child with a flexible, high-quality educational experience that combines the Alberta curriculum with the guidance of certified Alberta Muslim educators. Here’s what you can expect:
Alberta Curriculum: Students will follow the full Alberta curriculum, ensuring they meet provincial standards in all core subjects while benefiting from personalized support and a faith-based perspective.
Live Daily Instruction: Students will have access to live, daily lessons taught by experienced, certified Alberta teachers. This direct, interactive instruction ensures engagement and personalized learning, even in an online setting.
Islamic Studies and Arabic: In addition to the core subjects, students will engage in Islamic Studies and Arabic, fostering both academic growth and spiritual development.
Learning Management System: All lessons, assignments, and resources are accessible through a user-friendly Learning Management System (LMS). This platform allows students to easily view lessons, upload assignments, and track their progress.
Access to EIA Events: EIA Teacher-Directed students are part of the EIA community and have access to school events, ensuring they stay connected and engaged with the broader school activities. This includes the Quran/Hadith competition, Sparks Run, One Ummah event, Umrah Simulation, and more.
Sports Teams and Extracurricular: Teacher-Directed students are welcome to try out for school sports teams and participate in extracurricular activities, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and school spirit.
Access to Textbooks and Reading Materials: Students will have access to all the necessary textbooks and reading materials for their courses, providing a well-rounded educational experience that’s both comprehensive and accessible.
With the EIA Online Teacher-Directed Program, your child will receive a well-rounded, flexible education that balances academic rigour with spiritual growth, all in an environment that fosters community and connection. There is a $250 monthly fee associated with this program.
